AI Adventures

I am trying to “play” with AI more and more because I believe it is future. It will affect us in so many ways, it will be everywhere. So the more I know about it, the more opportunities I will have.

Using AI in my day to day job is kind of “must” as it is also part of company strategy. And just small reminder - I work as a software developer. That means instead of me writing the code, company wants AI to write it. I am there just to ask the AI to write it, provide it instructions and check it’s work… Results vary depending on which model you use :D and how good you are in writing requirements (prompts) for AI :D but it can do quite a good job…

That being said, recently I was playing with AI in my personal life as well and I must say I enjoy it more (AI) in personal life. I was thinking about it and come to the conclusion that I like it quite a lot because it give me solution to some of “dead ends” in my life. I usually am quite good in say what I dont like, however I am quite bad with describing what I like. Especially if it is something visual. When I see some picture, maybe some design of website or house - I can pinpoint what I like and what I dont, but I have hard time to create design which I would like. With AI this is not a problem, because I describe AI what application I want to create. It will create first version, then I will tell it - Hey I dont like this button, can you change it? AI will change it and then I evaluate if I like it or not :D and if not, I will ask for something different. But in short, I can give AI feedback - I like it or I dont like it and it will do something about it without me providing it specific solution / design… Same goes for functionality - maybe I like how interacting with some functionality feels - if not, I will just ask AI to change it. I must say it is quite addictive.

I was working on multiple prototypes:

Web and mobile application which make photographers from your guest at your event (you will capture more memories this way)
Dashboard for couples - application for managing life together between couples, from setting goals, plans, dreams to creating your meal plan for a week :D
Website for “planting trees”

I was really surprised how fast you can create functional prototypes without ever touching the code. For personal life I really like Replit - AI tool which I was using for all of this. Because you write the prompt in left pane and on the right pane you see the result - functional deployed website which do what you asked it to do. After you are satisfied with result, just press one button and it is deployed to servers and accessible to public.
